The first stage of Siena through the Val d’Arbia and arrives in Val d’Orcia where you will stay in the town of Montalcino, a beautiful example of a city perched on which stands high above the Val d’Orcia. Along the way you should not miss a visit to the Etruscan village of Murlo. The second stage crosses the beautiful “lunar” landscape of the Crete Senesi. The greenery of the Val d’Orcia slowly leave the field to dry clay hills of Crete in a journey full of ups and downs. The overnight is planned near the medieval town of Asciano, to signal along the way visits to the countries of Buonconvento and San Giovanni D’Asso (for those who reside in a caravan or camper: Camping The Treccolo). The third stage is characterized instead from the entrance area of ??Chianti Classico. From Asciano a nice dirt road takes you up close to Castelnuovo berardenga where the landscape will return to green and lush and you will continue to be immersed among vineyards and olive groves to the village of Radda in Chianti, is provided on the third night. The last leg of the tour will take you back to Siena, but moved to a location less demanding precedents which is characterized mainly by a visit to the magnificent Castle Brolio, surrounded by the largest variety of the whole area of ??Chianti Classico. A cycle way extraordinary, full of anecdotes and history! Almost entirely on roads passing through the Tuscan countryside from the areas of Siena, the Val d’Orcia, the Crete Senesi and Chianti. The heroic is a historical path on which for years held an important event which sees thousands of cycling enthusiasts compete on one of the more fascinating routes of Italy. Our bike trip will follow the original route, completing the Eroica around in 4 stages that will cross all areas of the hinterland caratteristriche central Tuscany.
